Eighties

Shots from the 80s look the way they do because they were shot on film stock with natural grain, used lenses with softer contrast, relied on practical lighting, and had minimal digital color grading. Effects were mostly optical or practical, and the overall color tone came from the film and printing process, not heavy post-production.
